We are reaching out to ask for your help in sharing information about an important LGBTQ2S+ research study now recruiting participants across the San Joaquin Valley and local foothills region.
Researchers at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, in collaboration with UC Merced, are conducting a remote study to better understand the daily experiences of LGBTQ2S+ individuals who are 18 years or older and currently smoke cigarettes as they work to quit smoking. We particularly seek to engage transgender and non-binary residents in the region, and participation is entirely remote and confidential.
We appreciate your help in forwarding this message to your networks, especially organizations, clinics, or spaces that serve LGBTQ2S+ communities in the Central Valley.
Eligible participants may be compensated up to $200 for completing the study. Participation includes a brief screening survey and, if eligible, a 28-day smartphone-based research activity.
